Brushing your hair is very significant as it stimulates both the scalp and the hair follicles. Try to avoid using brushes with hard bristles, as they may do more harm to your skin and hair, get natural, soft bristled brush and use it regularly.

Essential oils such as peppermint are good scalp stimulators. Just be careful, as essential oils are very strong and need to be diluted in water or carrier oils, such as olive, almond and jojoba oil. Add a few drops of peppermint oil to 2 teaspoons of carrier oil, mix well and apply directly to the hair and scalp. Massage for a couple of minutes and either rinse with a little lukewarm water, or leave overnight for best results.
